TX Comptroller Offers Free Tax Seminars in Jan. 2012

The Texas Comptroller’s office is kicking off the New Year with free tax seminars to help business owners better understand their tax obligations.   The seminars are geared to help taxpayers learn how to properly fill-out sales tax forms, and to understand filing and paying taxes electronically and e-services to help taxpayers manage their accounts online.   Comptroller staff will be available to answer questions and provide assistance to attendees.

The seminars are free and will be offered in Austin, Brownsville (both English and Spanish-language sessions), Corpus Christi, El Paso, Fort Worth, Giddings, Houston, Laredo (Spanish-language session only), Lubbock, McAllen (both English and Spanish-language sessions), Midland, San Antonio, Victoria, and Waco.  Details can be found here.
