Cyber Security Audit Tool for Small Businesses

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the Federal Communications Commission and several cyber security firms to provide a free online toolkit to help businesses develop a cybersecurity strategy (news release).  Small businesses typically don’t have the resources to hire  dedicated staff or consultants to guide and manage their technology security needs.  Although the press release touts that the results are customizable, customization in the tool (found here) consists of a cover page featuring your company name, city, and state, and the ability to choose from a list of a generic sections.

Save yourself some time, scroll down and select the option to download all of the sections.

Although the information is generic, it does offer basic guidance and can serve as a checklist to make sure that you’re taking appropriate precautions to protect yourself, your employees, and your customers.
